- 1 cup Instant oats or rolled oats
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup full cream milk (or dairy-free milk for a vegan option)
- 1/4 cup cooking cream (or dairy-free cream)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons butter (for greasing)

1. Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with butter.

4. Prepare the Oats Mixture
- For rolled-oats - in a blender or food processor, pulse the rolled oats until they form a coarse flour-like texture.
- For instant oats - just pour boiled water over it and mix well.
5. Combine Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, sautéed mushroom mixture, and oats. Stir until everything is well combined. Adjust the cinnamon and cardamom to your liking.
6. Fill the Muffin Tin
- Scoop the mixture into the greased muffin tin, filling each cup to the top.
- Garnish each pie with shredded cheddar cheese to your liking.
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 30-45 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown, and the milk has evaporated.
