Pan-Fried Tuna, Eggs, Bread and Cheese Pie

Pan-Fried Tuna, Eggs, Bread and Cheese Pie

Enjoy this delicious Pan-Fried Tuna, Eggs, and Cheese Pie with a crispy exterior and melty cheese on top. It's a fantastic breakfast option!

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 can of tuna, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (crushed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices of stale bread, coarsely shredded
  • Cheddar cheese (to melt on top)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tuna and Bread Mixture: In a mixing bowl, flake the tuna using a fork. Add the coarsely shredded stale bread into the bowl with the tuna.

  2. Season the Mixture: Sprinkle cumin powder, cinnamon powder, crushed dried rosemary, salt, and pepper over the tuna and bread mixture. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

  3. Whisk Eggs: In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until they're well beaten.

  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour the whisked eggs over the tuna and bread mixture. Stir until everything is well coated and combined.

  5. Pan-Fry: Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Once hot, pour the mixture into the pan.

  6. Cook on Both Sides: Allow it to cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip it to cook the other side until it's also golden brown and the eggs are fully set.

  7. Add Cheese: Sprinkle a generous amount of cheddar cheese over the top of the pie. You can either melt it by covering the pan with a lid for a few minutes or by placing it under the broiler in your oven for a minute or two until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  8. Serve: Once the pan-fried tuna, eggs, and cheese pie is cooked and the cheese is melted and golden, remove it from the pan. Let it cool for a moment, then cut it into slices or wedges and serve.

Enjoy this crispy-cheesy delight!
