5 simple things that make you look 10 years younger!

5 simple things that make you look 10 years younger!

Not an instant makeover but little things we forget that make a big difference.

1. Cleanse your face before sleep.

Why do you need to clean your face before sleep?

Because over the course of the day your skin and pores collect dirt and oil. If you don’t wash it all off before you hit the hay, the dirt will clog your pores overnight and you’ll wake up with irritated skin that is quite the opposite of a healthy, glowing complexion.

What about those nights when you party out with friends or family and are too darned exhausted to worry about your hide?

When you are really tired and don't feel like touching water there is an easy option - one that does the job pretty well! Yep you're right, Facial Wipes or Wet Tissue!

The alcohol content in it cleans your face by absorbing the greasiness, make-up and leaves your face with freshness.

Does the alcohol in wipes dry out your skin?

Choose one with Aloe Vera or Rose Water to combat dryness.

Or after using wipes Spritz your face with a mist or apply a thin layer of Aloe Vera on your face, eye area and neck.

2. Wear a good pair of sunglasses.

What causes Crow's feet?

A combination of loss of skin elasticity and collagen, and skin movement are the main causes of crow's feet," explains Dr Michael Prager. So does over-exposure to sun.

And though these fine lines and wrinkles are cute for some, without proper care, it can still make you look considerably older than you really are.

But why put on shades - wouldn't a good moisturizer do?

Nope! The delicate skin around your eyes require extra protection.

Choose sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of both UVA and UVB radiation, both will block 100 percent of the sun's harmful radiation.

Polarized sunglasses will give you a clearer vision therefore you will squint less and as you know by now squinting eventually turns into crow’s-feet,.

3. Catch up on your sleep.

Need I tell you more - that's why it's called beauty sleep. Try to establish a sleep routine that will help you get 8 hours of blissful sleep. Naps can work wonders on your complexion too.

4. Cut down on Junk+Sugar & drink more Sugar-Free fluids.

Sugar breaks down collagen and elastin – the proteins that give your skin shape, structure, and firmness. When this occurs, your skin may start to look wrinkled, saggy, dry, and dull.

Excess sugar consumption can increase the risk of acne breakouts.

Hands down, drinking water is the best thing you can do for your body - to keep you hydrated & your skin glowing.

5. Finally we have come to the very last tip. But it's the number one killer of youthful skin - "STRESS"!!!

For some people, stress is just a part of their everyday life.

And the level of stress differs from person to person and how we deal with it too!

Let's look at this evil at work!

Ok now that we know how harmful stress is not only on our appearance but how it affects internally.

Not to mention how it messes up our mental health & well-being as well.

So how do you fight off stress?

Well let's say we can't totally eradicate stress from the world, now can we!

But what we can do is - minimize the tension, find healthy things that you enjoy doing, that relaxes you like reading, a walk, spa-day at home, meditate, yoga - you get the drift right!
